Bobby Moore

Pleased with this shot.

Bobby Moore was a West Ham football player, and was also captain of England.
He captained England to their only World Cup success in 1966, but died tragically early of cancer.

This statue stands outside Wembley Stadium, England Football teams home.

I was in the area today and wanted to get this shot.
I took what I thought was a good shot, walked away and the wind picked up a little. I looked back and the flag was flying a bit. Not much, but a bit.
I gambled and went back, hoping the wind would pick up enough for me to get a shot with the flag flying fully.
I must have waited over 30 minutes, rooted to the spot waiting for 'the' shot - and I pulled it off :-)
