70's cookery book.
When we lived in Seaford in the 70's we could never afford to go to this restaurant. So, the book is a bit of (almost) nostalgia. Its claim to fame is that banoffi pie was invented there.
It closed a few years ago, and I've still not eaten there. Some of the recipes are very definitely 70s. How about Salmon, Bacon and Bananas on Rice? Or Chocolate Brandy Cream which needs a pound of best quality plain chocolate and a hypodermic syringe to inject brandy into the mousse!
