India of Inchinnan
I was over in the west today doing family stuff, and one of my journeys took me past the old India of Inchinnan tyre factory, near Renfrew, which is an Art Deco joy to behold.
The building is a category A listed building designed in 1930 by Thomas Wallis of Wallis, Gilbert and Partners. The office block was similar in style to Wallis, Gilbert and Partners' Hoover Building in Perivale, London.
I had a quick peek inside, and the renovation is super, with real attention to the original Art Deco detail. Well worth visiting if you are a fan of this style.
Anyway, I hope you have had a good day.
