Barrel Jellyfish

This is the only barrel jellyfish I saw over the weekend - lots of other smaller ones were floating in the sea. Even ones that sting - that worried my dive buddy a little.

Our morning dive was on the Sphene which is a beautiful wreck - very little faffing happened. Our afternoon dive was on a headland. We had an issue where one of the hoses on Lizzie's regulator bust - I just heard an explosion but had no idea what had happened! Between us, we had to remember our rescue training and get us both safely to the surface. We made it but were both a little shell shocked. To provide Lizzie with confidence, we went back in the water off the beach - what a dull dive.

In the evening, I was absolutely shattered - luckily, Chris cooked for us and we sat round gossiping. We finished the evening in the pub :)
