Training reference group

I was in town today for a meeting of the training reference group getting updates on the evaluation of pre-service training earlier this year (very positive with some issues to be addressed) and looking at how we plan what we are describing as core training for all panel members over their three year appointment period.

Still work to be done but consensus emerging on proposals - and the consequences for failure to undertake training.

Also exploring how we share good examples of local learning and development. A busy constructive meeting with some lively debate.

On my way there, in between passing lorries and buses, I grabbed this classic shot of the Princes St skyline - with the added Ferris wheel which now seems to be making a summer appearance.
