is a lone gull - heading who knows where - before yet more - afternoon thunderstorms come pouring down - it seems like every day - again lately, we are dealing - with these storms; rain - hail, lightening, flash flooding - sure it's nice to have constant - moisture making our grasses green - lowering the potential threat - of fires occurring in the area - yet i can't help but be - disturbed with the fact that - while we are receiving all - this abundance of water - there are areas in the nation - which are suffering from severe drought - in fact the other day - i was talking to a brother of mine who lives - in california and the part he's in - is in dire straits in terms - of their water levels, having to conserve wherever - however they can

if only there was a way - we could figure out how to transport all - the waterfall from our rain here - to help with their drought there - wouldn't that make for...
