On the one hand, finding that my table saw was knackered would have been a good thing - an excuse to buy a new (and of course, better) one. But on the other, I'd have had to buy a new one and there's other things that can be bought that add to the collection rather than just replace. Not sure what that is yet. 

Anyway, it was only the brushes as the new and old comparison here ably illustrates. Fiver off the eBay. Fast delivery AAAAAAAAAAAAA+ seller etc.

In other news, Ewan's recurring cough is being investigated as potential asthma. The little peak flow meter they gave him is good fun for competitive blowing. He's certainly no blow hard.
