Happy Birthday Laura!

We've had a lovely evening at a family party to celebrate the 18th Birthday of my American niece Laura (on the right) who is over here with her mum (sister-in-law Anne) and her friend Katie (on the left) for a flying visit as a birthday present.

Apart from feeling the cold, tonight the girls have been introduced to the delights of mini cheddars, maltesers and a modicum of alcohol!

There has been much laughter and meeting and making of new friends in our extended family. On Thursday we will meet up with them again in York for lunch, great stuff!
