Banded Demoiselle (Male -Calopteryx splendens)

Popped down to the local nature reserve at lunchtime.  I walked along with the hope of capturing some birds but they were reclusive.  I did however notice this banded demoiselle perched on this leaf.  I didn't have the ideal lens or camera (this is where the Nikon D810 comes into its own), but made do.
