Two webs, two spiders
This photo is confusing and needs to be deciphered.
I had initially focused on the larger spider and its web, but was not aware of a further web just behind it. When a second, smaller, out-of-focus spider came into view I refocused the camera lens to try and work out what was happening. Both spiders were clearly very much aware of the other's presence. (Could they have been mother and offspring?)
So the threads and droplets which are in sharp focus belong to the small spider's web. It would have been impossible for me - and a great deal more confusing for the viewer - to get both webs in sharp focus.
