Restless teddy
He's made it to the steps has teddy.
Coffee, a yesterday's homemade blueberry muffin and a planning guide for maths. Perhaps he'll set fire to a Sobranie.
Part of him knows he shouldn't do this. It's an addiction. It harms life, drives friends away, makes life smaller. But there's no Teachers Anonymous. Three weeks in, almost four, and he hasn't stopped.
It's just that, well, there's not much else for teddy to do. No one to play with. And a year to this day, he wishes he'd gone out and played more. But that was then and this is now and tomorrow will be the same. And the day after.
Might go back and clean out that resource room.
Little Teddy in a big big world.
