Shag Chicks
Had a trail by fire bird banding introduction today, clambering on the rock faces of North Sutor. Unable to move on the side of a rock stack as I had two handful's of shag chicks flapping in my face trying to peck my eye's, all I could think was how much my mum would throttle me if she knew what I was up to. All in all I banded 40 shags, a few fulmars, a couple guillemots, and some razorbill chicks. I couldn't take many photos as I had my hands full, but I got these three weean's in the nest. Cant get the smell of bird poo off me, though its probably doing me favours.
