THE BOUGAINVILLEA IN GRANNY'S GREENHOUSE

After two nights in a fairly down-at-heel hotel (it must have been classier when Edward & Mrs Simpson had their alleged trysts there) and being woken up twice by the fire alarm going off (someone smoking in their room the first time and then apparently trying to disable the smoke alarm the second time) we went on to my Mum's for a couple of days. She was in good form and her garden and plants were all in their usual fine fettle.
