Later but earlier

This is a dragonfly beastie that I found this morning, at an earlier stage than the one I found last night. It's clinging to the, now hollow, nymph it climbed out of. It's body will lengthen and strengthen as it pumps black fluid through its body and wings. It's balaclava and yellow colours will become more defined and it's wings will have black veins. Or, as it's windy, it will fall back into the pond where a frog will snaffle it.
