Betrayed
I knew something was up when he started to assemble all the snow shu stuff.
I just don’t get to go on these adventures and The Bossess is no fun at all when in the work mode (most of the time) so I showed my displeasure by refusing (almost) to eat when “she” fed me this morning. Hey…this is just a protest and only lasted 2 minutes.
Tiny reported that they had a great day at the Sno Farm where ungroomed trails and fresh fallen snow made shuing wonderful and “G” who went with The Boss was entranced with the sled dogs and the lady from Auckland who had her own (borrow) team.
All together about 8 folk went up and all met for Hot Choc or other drinks after.
Yes I have been told that dogs do go there but The Boss has ruled that fun human adventures are not conducive with out of control dog adventures (Some really bad examples witnessed today) and has enough problems controlling himself without a ballistic terrier wanting to meet and greet skiers.
Exec summary…..Tough, you are not going!
It is however a magic place for photography with the only problem being the Boss’s glasses which have photo chromatic lens’s and react strongly to bright light AND cold temperatures to the point that he has problems looking through the viewfinder or seeing the view screen at all.
It only slows him down a tad.
The big mountain opposite holds the Cardrona Ski field and you can see the access road clearly if you look large.
Oh …and The Boss fed me tonight…Alls well in the world.
