Badminton and Beach Boys

My toothache had got so bad that I booked an emergency appointment. I had an x-ray (on the same tooth which I'd had a filling on in Thailand) and as I expected, it needs a root canal. However as I only have a couple of weeks left in the UK, I may have to wait until I get to Vietnam.

In the evening I played badminton with a group from Sussex University who I used to play with regularly. I could only squeeze in an hour and a half but it was great fun. It showed me how important practice and fitness are and how much I'm lacking in both recently!

After a quick dinner I went to the cinema with my mum, uncle and cousin to see 'Love & Mercy', the biopic of Brian Wilson from the Beach Boys. He's one of my idols so I loved it, especially the younger segments of him creating Pet Sounds and Smile.
