Stairs

I forgot to close the baby gate on the bottom of the lower staircase this afternoon, so Sebastien took the opportunity to explore the stairs for the first time.

He figured out how to crawl up them pretty quickly (with my hand behind him in case he lost his balance and tumbled down).

He was quite determined. Turned around after every step to see how high he'd gotten, paused halfway up because he was getting tired, but continued on until he'd reached the very top of the flight of stairs!!!

Didn't take any photos while he was going up (for obvious reasons), but here he is lording over the top of the stairs. Guess we'll have to be awfully careful with those baby gates from now on...
