So the big experiment with the tadpoles has ended tragically. We lost 3 on day two so today we released the other two to into a pond to give them a fighting chance. I was really excited to show Cleo the different stages of the frog's life cycle but it just turned in to froggy death cycles and now I feel like a tadpole murderer. I know they had a good chance of being killed in the wild as well which is why frogs lay a gazillion or so eggs, but I still feel bad!
