Cigale

The theme for Mono Monday is Summer.
Not sure what to blip, as we aren't on holiday, or near the sea.
So after quite a few garden photos, which I was not happy with, I spied this on the kitchen wall. ( actually on a wooden beam, along with two others.
It is a brightly coloured pottery cigale, bought last summer when we were on holiday in Vaison la Romaine, Provence.
So it always reminds me of warm summer days, sat outside in the sunshine, with a glass of rose, listening to the sound of the cigales.
