Valentre Bridge, Cahors

Wandered round Cahors before driving on to Caunes.  While we were there we saw TV3 cameras taking pictures of the bridge and the following week there was a television programme on the Lot which covered the town/river/bridge.

Nice town, excellent market, good church with cloister and an organist practising.  It is cliched to say it but fruit and vegetables in France (we bought strawberries and peaches in the market) do taste better than they do in England.  Is it the better weather, better cultivation  or better varieties?
