Monomonday: Summer

.... and what better way to spend a Summer's day than sitting at the water's edge in a comfy chair?

We had to go in to Wells this morning and I was hoping for some picturesque reflections of the Cathedral in the Bishop's Palace moat.

Instead we found the moat was being drained ( repairs needed to one of the pipes controlling the flow of water), exposing this chair(and it's partner out of shot) that had somehow been dumped fully open in the moat some time in the not-too-recent past.

I have since spent 6 hours glued to our own sofa watching the very exciting final round of the golf. No spoilers for those of you in other time zones looking forward to the highlights!
