Palouse Farm House

An old farm house sits abandoned amid a field of wheat in the Palouse region in southeast Washington state. Spectacular light this afternoon. Puffy clouds and clear air with no haze due to the recent rains. Perfect conditions for landscape photography.

To capture the deep blue sky with the dramatic cloud formations. I positioned myself to the south of the house with the late afternoon sun nearly 90 degrees to my right. This maximized the effects of the B+W polarizer filter I used on a Canon 24-105mm racked to 28mm.
