Pick your own.......literally!

Well we didn't sleep too well, it's always the same when we are looking after any of the grandchildren.....typically, Emily didn't wake up until much later, and also, typically, the weather is not good now we have school holidays!!

Porridge for breakfast, which she wolfed down, followed by den building, using the pillows, cuddly toys and covers on the bed.
Then we did manage to get out into the garden briefly, I did some watering, grandad and Emily did drawings of flowers in the garden, but,it soon started to rain again!

A quick shopping trip, burgers were requested for lunch, so,that's what we all had, and rare nice they were too ;-)

After lunch flowers were cut out, glued into a collage, followed by TV....Monsters Inc, again!!!

Then as the rain had stopped things were drying up, grandad suggested Em helped him pick,some strawberries for after tea, she was only too pleased to oblige. It turned into quite a pick your own session, as you can see, they were pleased with their haul!!!

Em and grandad are currently watching a Barbie movie, think,grandad would have preferred the golf ;-)

I'm off to make dinner, she chose spaghetti bolognese whilst we were shopping earlier.

Is it bedtime yet.........?!!! Think we'll sleep well tonight, fingers crossed ;-)
