Totally Disorganised Again!

I expect you are looking at this wondering what is disorganised about it. Well, I spent most of the evening half asleep after lapsing into a coma during the England match and then when I did wake up, I got distracted watching an old episode of Benidorm. I realise I am not doing myself any favours here revealing my choice of entertainment. Oh well...

Yet again I realised with a jolt that it was approaching midnight and I hadn't taken a picture. I need more practice with night time lamppost photos anyway I know, but I really must stop leaving things until the last minute. I'm not quite getting it right though as my lamppost heads always end up as shapeless blobs no matter how I mess with the ISO setting. Any suggestions?

Needless to say, that corner of my road doesn't look quite so creepy in daylight but you'd never know from looking at this that there is a bus stop around that dark corner by a fairly lively pub. Here, it makes you wonder who or what is lurking...
