Blue Dasher

We took the boy and a friend to the pool today - it felt so good in the water - it was HOT HOT today.

When the boys were snacking, I strolled the grounds around the pool and saw several dragonflies - this lady blue dasher (per google) posed nicely for me.  I also saw a widow skimmer and had a hard time deciding between the photos.  

I can see a lot "wrong" with the photos - I don't have the depth of focus right - and the photo is too grainy - but I like them anyway - I'm still learning everyday and that is a wonderful thing!

A lovely weekend - over too soon. But I am feeling refreshed and happy -life is good.
