Skin-searing heat

Fred thought his whole family was a bunch of shade-seeking wusses.

Climate change: drought in the rain forest. Hotter and dryer than the all-time records.  Today it was 95F/35C and attendance at the Cathedral Park Jazz Festival was limited to those who could find seats in the shade.
