Smiley Squad

This was the first girls' team to help with the washing up, veg prep, and serving - they did a great job.

Because it was Sunday, we tried to do a more special meal tonight - boy, was it stressful! I make a chocolate pudding in which you pour a few litres of boiling water onto the mix before putting in the oven, and just as I'd poured on the first lot, it started squirting out of a hole left by the handle having broken off the baking tray - and there was NO way of stopping it. In the end, M came in and plugged it with paper and tape. EVERYTHING was covered in chocolate sauce - clothes, floor, counters, cookers.

Anyway, it all came out OK in the end, thankfully.

In the extra, getting ready for the Camp photo. Oh, just remembered it's our 29th anniversary today - so a second extra of a quick walk down to the beach this evening when we remembered, after our daughter reminded us at dinner.
