Wild Flag iris with...

not quite sure what these flies are.
Went for walk with a friend today along a path I haven't walked for years. It's a path that has been cleared of a lot of pine trees so clearing a beautiful view across the valley, and letting in light for the flowers This is such a lovely time of year, there were so many flowers and plants, we took ages to get anywhere there was so much to look at, and take pictures of.
