At the Manor House, Ilkley

The Manor House in Ilkley is one of the town’s oldest buildings which until recently was a local heritage museum, art gallery and education centre, now appears to be facing an uncertain future since Bradford MDC decided to close it.   It is currently supported by a group of ‘friends’, who are trying to secure its future, while still worrying about the possibility of vandals breaking the fragile windows or worse.   And the small gardens are wonderfully tended by some very green fingered loyal ‘friends’.
