Lettuce

I picked some of the lettuce I had planted in pots some weeks ago, but it  has regrown while I've been on holiday and there seems enough to last me for a few weeks.  I bought the lettuce (described as a living plant)  from a well known German store in Late May and decided to split it up and put it into pots as I wouldn't have eaten all of it at the time and I've been greatly rewarded since.   I love just picking what I want to use for each meal instead of throwing out half-empty bags that have been kept at very low temperatures in stores.
