Peanut Fan
I've just blipped this lovely little bird about a half hour ago after getting back from spending the afternoon with Jo and Ric; we've had a super day, just taking things easy and spending Sunday the way it should be spent. Faye is in Austria training for the Biathlon and Lucie is in Costa Rica working in a women's refuge; the downside for Lucie is that meals, and that means meals as in three times a day, consist of beans and rice. It's not very palatable, but she and the other girls are accepting of it, as the people out there are so generous and yet have so little. It's the first time both girls have been away at the same time, so home life for Jo and Ric at the moment seems a little bit strange and empty.
Since the Jays have come calling I've taken to putting a few peanuts out to hold their interest, but I'm finding that this humble ground nut is popular with all my visitors - apart from the Woodpeckers who still prefer the suet cake.
