The cattle have eaten their pasture during the week very thoroughly. Supplemental feeding has been needed already for most of the week. Better to keep them satisfied this way and let the other paddocks grow a little longer. Today I brought one old silage bale and later brought some freshly mowed hay. Even the old and not-so-nutritive silage is now popular.
