Port Edgar - South Queensferry - Scotland
Spent most of the morning at the retail park.. and got home with a few unplanned shops: That's why malls were made for... for a person to spend money on things one "needs", but wasn't needing before leaving home.
Anyway Jim won a new camera bag... the dogs won new harnesses, and i won a set of led lights for the lams I use with the light tent.. Homebase is closing and selling away everything so for the 4 lamps I paid like 3.5 pounds (the original price was 35.. not bad.)
I was having in mind to go to Port Edgar for the bridges.. so that's my blip for today... it has to be a mono, because the original colours are not all that good.
Besides it was somewhat cloudy, the light was already pretty hard. We spent there a good pair of hours and I took a long time to choose a good PoV of the bridges.
As always when I have all the gear setup fr a photo... tripod, filters and so on... people passing by think I am a "pro".. and they can´t miss the chance to take a picture too... anyway this guys must know what he's doing so we better don't miss it... so a few passers got out their mobiles and compact cameras and got their shot too... this hapens often to me when I am shooting in public places and always make me smile. (if they only could know...) the old say... "The habit makes the monk" stills true.
After Port Edgar we decided to have a look at Portobello - Edinburgh, but Jim got lost 3 times in the city bypasses and we decided to go home... anyway meanwhile it started to rain heavily (showers) and it was the best to do...
