Spartan Junior Race

Ethan took part in the Spartan Junior Race this morning with his friends Anna & Lucinda.  We were a bit concerned about the weather forecast as rain was due all day.  The last race Ethan did was wet and he was really miserable.  However, the forecast was wrong today - a bit of drizzle was all that materialised.  Phew!  And he loved the race - he kept asking if he could do it again!  It's his first obstacle race and suffice to say I don't think it will be his last.

We then went to Holyrood Park where Historic Scotland were holding a
Royal Pursuits event.  Ethan was transfixed by the Court Jester, who was great with the kids.  He took part in archery, kids jousting and then tried to drag me for a walk up Arthurs Seat afterwards.  I don't know where he gets all his energy from!
