Pond skater

I got as far as Machynlleth yesterday, the last place with a train station until  the route nears Cardiff, and decided I was going to struggle to make it in time.  If I'd had a extra couple of days I could have reduced the daily milage, but I remembered that I was supposed to be enjoying myself so decided to stay put for a few nights then get a train straight from Machynlleth to Manchester.

This morning was wet again, so I visited the Centre for Alternative Technology which was right next to the campsite.  Later the sun came out and the evening was nice.  I spent a while watching the pond life in and on the Afon Dulas, which the campsite was next to.
