Bad Herrenalb - Heimbach

It's time to start heading slowly (ish) back North towards home, though 226 miles in a 24 year old vehicle that doesn't go over 60 mph is a bit of a feat.
Though she has done us proud we had a slight issue a few miles after setting off this morning. Thankfully we hadn't hit the motorway when the exhaust came loose.....
On further investigation (lying on the picnic blanket under the van at the side of the road) B discovered that said exhaust is/was held on with little more than rubber bands; so she gamely fixed it back with bungee cords, which 200 miles later were still in place.

Reached the beautiful campsite at Heimbach in time to do a bit if drawing, soak our feet in the river and doze in the evening sun.
