Roadside foxgloves

Lovely cycle seeing cows and calves, beautiful flowers and sampling wild rasps.

A loud hiss heralded the arrival of my second puncture this weekend (I had none on the western isles!) which for some reason I couldn't fix despite trying a new inner tube. Ah well I had plenty of food and water and it wasn't cold or raining. So with very muddy knees I walked/ran over 6 miles home - glad that I made banana bread this morning which would by now be cooled and ready to dive into.

Tomorrow night I shall be practicing repairing punctures and tubes to see what went wrong. But not today.
