A birds eye view

We cycled to the Marina this afternoon and then locked the bikes up and had a walk.  At the end of the marina is where all the fishing boats are, and this is where you can usually spot Cormorants.  Today there was only this youngster, sat up very high with a view all over the marina.  I took lots of photos so it was difficult to choose and I've put some of the others in my extras so it would be interesting to see what you think.

Then tonight we had two parties to go to - Sue who is 60 next week had a 'Strawberry Tea' in aid of Breast Cancer Care, and then we went to Elif & Ali's BBQ for their Turkish friends as it was the end of Ramadam.

We only stayed for a couple of hours as we'd promised to have Coco, our boys' little sister, over night, so Elif & Ali could enjoy the party without having to worry about Coco.  The boys were so excited to see her and I'm sure there'll be lots of photos of them together tomorrow.
