Golden Light Up Country at Boundary Stream
It's been a lazy day for me and she today, just like Sundays should be.
After a late night shooting at the ball, I was pleased to have a bit of a slow start. A quick trot with the dogs in the snow - we only had a couple of centimetres, so just enough to coat some of the bush with a layer of white - and then it was time to head into Ashburton to grab some stuff from the hardware store and supermarket, as well as the garden centre. All very middle aged.
We topped off our day of exhilaration (hahaha) with a 'Sunday Drive' up the gorge road. We got as far as Boundary Creek, when the ice on the climbing road was enough to put Mrs H off going any further. Fair enough I suppose. So, I parked up, walked back up the other side of the gully and shot this looking up the Boundary Stream gully towards the ridgeline of the Tara Haoa range and Coal Hill.
