Back blip No. 4 (18.7.15)

One thing I absolutely LOVE about this country is the quality of the produce! Just incredible!

Went into Guildford today to er look at televisions! I wanted to see what was available in the shops and we had a very knowledgable salesman in PC World show us a few TVs and soundbars. We bought an iron instead after having a good look around at all the new things.

Had a pub lunch in Send by the River Wey but my pictures of the long boats moored along the bank are at the wrong time of day, so you've got something that caught my eye as we did a quick trip into Guildford again after meeting up with friends from Dubai at Woking. Didn't say it yesterday, but part of the stress was linking up with these friends to deliver things they wanted from Dubai. Glad we were able to meet the very next day.

Spent the evening taking out the cobwebs in the storage box and on the decking, and then researching TVs online - now that I am "connected". :D  We also watched a rather disturbing and very sad program about obesity in the UK. Interesting as on the plane travelling here, instead of watching a movie, I watched a documentary called "The Truth about Calories". Now if someone could just invent a white fat cell melting pill...
