Salt Cathedral

Today we went on a day trip to a town one hour away from the city. Zipaquira is a small town known for its salt mines. One in which has a cathedral carved into the salt rock. It's a pretty incredible sight to see deep underground! We caught local buses the whole day, we were very proud of ourselves as it turned out half the price of a guided tour and we got to practice our Spanglish!
