Bertie

I’d planned to stop in Settle on the way home to look at some of the creations in the Flowerpot Festival. My blip plan almost changed after spotting a steam train at Hellifield. When I got to Settle station other photographers were arriving and I thought I’d timed it well. No such luck. The train stops at Hellifield to take on water and it was another hour before it was due. 

If the weather had been better I may have waited but instead I just enjoyed the flowerpots. Lots of amazing men, women and animals around but the very colourful Bertie Bassett dangling above a sweet shop won the competition for my blip.
