The Crane Guys

End of an era.  Finally taking down the big crane in front of us today after a long long time.  Well actually they put up an even bigger one at the beginning, tore down the old building, the economy crashed, the crane sat, they took it away, the building site sat forever, then a new crane came about a year ago, a new building went up... more or less just like the old building - and no towering hi-rise I thought might block my view.  Hurray!

I wonder if this was an useless exercise in futility or if there was an actual goal achieved?
