An interesting walk around Streatham, along Valley Road this abandoned dairy, which is for sale. The surrounding area is quite twee, pretty cottages and terraced homes, French deli, etc., and then this huge site. Seems prime for development. Looks like someone is overseeing it as it's not been vandalized, only a few bits of graffiti. There is a small woodland behind the dairy called Unigate Woods. The dairy used to also deliver mineral water from a well, part of Streatham's spa history, many moons ago. From what I read the well still exists. Who knew?! A different type of sight seeing, and no other tourists!
