The hall of mixed emotions.

Today was Alice's end of primary school (sob) play. They did Matilda and were amazing. There were no awkward self-conscious moments, they all went for it and were so proffesional. I had tears in my eyes at lots of moments.
Alice had wanted to be Matilda but, so they said, because she'd had the top role in last years christmas play they wanted to share things around. She was a bit disappointed to be Lavender but at least she had a few lines and a solo bit of singing.
Afterwards it was mayhem as they all ran around taking selfies with each other on their new phones and posing for the parents. And photobombing as much as possible.
