Wild Orchid

The meadow leading down to Cockleshell Bay, at Ganavan near Oban was crowded today, but only with wild flowers. Masses of lilac and white orchids, but only found this one in deep purple. Such a peaceful spot, no one there but us, the mallards, the odd seagull and wild flowers galore. Warm, sunny, heavenly.
