Big Bee

Today's the day ......................... for the glove that fits

These enormous foxgloves are in the same allotment as the enormous lupin featured a while back. They must be some sort of cultivated variety because they are so huge and they come in a variety of colours.

It's probably hard to see in this picture because you have nothing to get the scale from - but that is one enormous bee inside the flower. And there were lots of other big bees around helping themselves to all the goodies to be found inside a foxglove.

It must be the bee equivalent of big girls going shopping in Long Tall Sally..................................
