Heightened emotions

I should have posted this earlier when the day was jolly and full of happy reminiscing.

Currently in a cab bringing the boy home from the aborted sleep test. It was all too much. I think we were right to try and make it happen and I think we were right to call time on it when we did. I can't really bring myself to describe the awfulness of it all.

And he's calm now and ready to sleep in his own bed. So let's focus on that. And tomorrow and then the days and weeks after that.
