On the Crest

Had a nice catch up with Gemma and little Hunter this morning.  We sat outside in the sun at Cafe Tabu.  Gemma is a work colleague and has being enjoying her maternity leave very much, and is trying no to think about the return to work in October. 

After that I had a little wander round the shops and resisted buying anything.  Picked up Ben and then we went a walk to the Resy.  It's great wandering along the road with a four year old hearing about adventures real and made up:-)

Decided as it was only him and I that we would have tea out for a change.  We picked up GG and went to a place that hadn't tried before called Duo.  We've bought their fresh bread before but not tried the food.  It was delicious.  Ben loved his strawberry ice cream so much he licked the bowl and said it was the best ice cream ever, I loved it!  You can get away with licking a bowl in a restaurant at the age of 4!!!  We had great chats and laughs and Ben decided that he was bringing Cameron, Mummy and Daddy here soon!
