Those Blippers of a certain age will know this footballer as 'the Preston Plumber' Tom Finney greatest footballer every to grace the game some say. I cannot verify this as I am too young, however my father in law and Uncle who were regulars in North Ends heyday will biasly confirm this. The ground has changed a bit since I used to watch them as a teenager. Deepdale is probably unique in that it has the faces of 3 its former stars Alan Kelly Snr and Bill Shankly and Finney picked out in seats.

I was at Deepdale speaking at a funding workshop. I was on first and politely stopped for the rest of the gig. One of the speakers was an expert in communications and marketing.
